Surprise trip to Paris, maybe?

Nick and I will be in Scotland for two weeks.  Originally we planned to fly into another city on the Continent and then fly to Scotland for the P&N wedding.  But it cost waaay to much to do a multi-destination flight.  But now I see on Ryan Air and Easy Jet tickets from Scotland to Paris for approximately $140 (plus costs to travel to and from airports, which I know is the major setback for these discount airlines) for both of us.  And Nick is fluent in French.  And he deserves a good Christmas present.

So … doing it?
